the problem is
my burner only does dvd+r

i think I just figured it out, almost sounds like media issue

to make a long story short

I have 1 game on tdk dvd+r media that works fine. I took this game and burned it to dvd+r media by fujifilm, will not work. I also tried other dvd+r media from tdk, same type of media, but that game will not work as well.

I'm assuming its a media issue. So if anyone has any insight on dvd+r media that works fine for them, please let me know

thanks in advance

I 've been burning most of the time on MAxell DVD+R, they always work like a charm.

Also try 'd cheaper media, that did 'nt work :(

The Xbox has used different brands/suppliers of the DVD_ROM units withing the box. I'm aware of 3 different ones, and its only the Phillips units that "likes" the DVD+R's, the others like the DRD-R's better.

venimk
thanks for the feeback
i will try that brand and see what happen
but i'm getting sick of wasting dvdr's
expensive

like i said, i've tried, verbatim, fujifilm and tdk

no dice

what is odd, is that i have 3 games working on tdk dvd+r's working fine. but they came from a different 25 pack or whatever, so maybe tdk change the dye or something to that nature.

but i know its the media. reason

i took the tennis masters game, which is small enough to fit on cdr. I burned it to cdr media, it plays fine. i burn it to the fujifilm, tdk or verbatim, no luck

TDK are notorious for changing suppiers on a weekly basis, you never know how makes there stuff.
