Under the new European Copyright Directive which has recently come into force, it is no longer permitted to create such back-up copies of commercial DVDs for private use. As a result, X-OOM (under parent company bhv) is now therefore legally obliged to remove the program mcldecrypt.exe (which was used to read the copy protected DVDs) from the new version of X-OOM Movie Clone, in order to make it compliant under this new legislation.
For clarification in this respect, we draw your attention to the fact that the installation or use of the program mcldecrypt.exe (which may be installed on your PC from a previous version of X-OOM Movie Clone or downloaded from the net) is an infringement against copyright law, should you decide you still wish to use it.

Easy enough to find it with google - you CAN'T ban something off the Internet, as it can usually find a place to hide out where it IS legal, or where they just don't care.
