"wpa.dbl" could it be?

i heard from another forum that; once you have a properly activated XP, copy the file called "wpa.dbl" in (Windows\System32) directory and save it somewhere. Then if for some reason you need to format and reinstall another XP, just recall this file from where you've saved and it's done. You donot need activation again. I didn't have the chance to do it yet. Any interpretations regarding this???

You can also just save the file "wpa.dbl" (in Windows\System32) to a floppy and put it back there once you reinstall. Won't have to activate again.:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

VIPER,

I doubt it's editable since this was discovered by one guy on irc during June 2001 so it's already been known. I forgot the guys name but he is a earthlink user.
