No official Pinnacle support for your burner... but since it's the same with the (officially supported) DRU-500A and still the old VOB recorder registration scheme is used it's quite easy (and safe) to get full support. Do you know how to use regedit?
I may also assume that you've used both updates from HERE right?

Ok it does it also when i try to use dvd dycrypt it will only burn to dvd+r or dvd+rw's and now my nero 6 won't burn dvd-r just +r and +rw so i don't know whats going on. nero worked fine till i installed instantcopy and it said there was a problem with the drivers and ask if i wanted to fix it and i clicked on fix it. and since then i can't burn dvd-r dvd's anymore.

Yes i know how to use regedit. what do i need to do?

I don't use Instantcopy to burn, just have the destination as the HD, then burn with Nero, Burnatonce, etc. Avoid driver issues that way...

1. Open the Instant Copy driver assignment utility, and write down the EXACT name reported by your burner, eg "SONY____DVD_RW_DRX-500ULX" or whatever.
2. Find the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VOB\CDRApp\Writer\
3. Export the subkey SONY____DVD_RW_DRU-500A
You can also export any other subkey referring to a burner you use.
4. Delete the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VOB\CDRApp\Writer\ (not 100% necessary, but useful to speed up Instant Copy).
5. Open the exported Sony subkey with a text editor, replace "SONY____DVD_RW_DRU-500A" with "SONY____DVD_RW_DRX-500ULX" or whatever and then import it back to registry (as well as any other burner info you have exported). Should work fine- do a reboot although it's not really needed.
