Wont burn after avi to dvd

Everytime i convert an avi to dvd and then go to burn it fails with a write error. I do not get any errors if i burn a normal dvd.

Could it be my media? i am using a dvd+rw. it cannot be the software because i have tried two different ones...and it cannot be the drive because it burns normal dvds and cds.

could it be something im doing wrong in the process?

Maybe if you describe some of your avi to dvdr process, then someone might be able to help you.

You say your drive cam burn "normal dvd's". Please explain what you mean by a "normal dvd". What is the brand and model your dvd buner and what media are you trying to use?

well im actually using ur tutorial chickenman...

ive got a liteon LDW-411s + and - drive....
im trying to burn onto a dvd+rw but i dont know the make..

Waht do you mean "normal" dvd's, that you can burn ? Waht software are you using to burn to DVDR anyway ? and what settings do you choose ?
