Won't burn 4x help...

Hey guys,

I have a LG 8080B, (8x4x32)
and i bought gq CDRWS rated at 4x-10x.

i cant seen to burn with them, the programs i use i can only choose 2x burning speed. and i get an error when burning.


In nero: "Illegal mode for this track, Could not perform fixation"

In discjuggler: "Illegal mode for this track or invalid packet size, Tracking, focus, or spindle servo failure"


any help is greatly appreciated.

Normal CDR are working? If yes try another brand of CDRW?
eg my RICOH doesn't like Intenso CDRWs, but runs great with Intenso CDRs;

At all, is your LG 8080B "High Speed CDRW" compatible?
if yes there must be a "High Speed CDRW" logo on the device or in the manual; not only the media is important, also the capability off your LG;
