Diana Newton, 51, sued the J.C. Penney Co. after she was allegedly thwacked on the head by a legless female mannequin. She says she suffered a bloodied scalp, a cracked tooth, recurring shoulder pain and numbness in her fingers. "The alleged attack was the latest in a string of mannequin mayhem incidents nationwide," notes the reporter. (Los Angeles Times)
