Could somebody please advise what the correct settings in DVD2SVCD are when using TMPGenc as the encoder.
I am not using CCE as I have had too many problems. I have just chosen TMPGenc and it worked first time. Quality on the animation movie I did wasn't brilliant, a few artifacts. I would like to know whether this could be because I haven't tweaked it correctly, and also so I know from here on in that the settings are right and whether I have to bother changing anything. I've just let it at the default settings for now.
e.g
Does the RATE CONTROL MODE have to be changed off Constant Quality (CQ) to either 2 pass VBR or do I choose the constant bitrate (CBR) ?
Do any of the advanced settings need to be changed ?
Do I need to change any of the other setting in the other tabs ?
Is there a tutorial on DVD2SVCD conversions using TMPGenc ?
I have looked up the tuts and only talks about using CCE for DVDSVCD or DVD to VCD but their doesn't appear to be one for DVD2SVCD using TMPGEnc, that explains what some of the settings do. I've done a bit of a search around for some sort of manual but so far nothing has eventuated.
