Well I just checked Tos Homepage and the Tos drive should read these DVD formats DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, DVD-R and DVD-RW so if your using +media change to -.
The next thing to do is chaeck to see if windvd4 has DVD format set in the file option as windows media play tends in many case to set most file formats as default so WMP will play these files..
One other thing is to check your aspic file are ok if not try to reinstall them.
And check to see if your drives are lock on to a set region...

Ok you may need to downoad some small programs have a read of this.
Test to see if your aspichk files are fine with aspichk.exe if not follow this link http://www.dvdrbase.com/showthread.php?t=32137.
Q: Have you tested with pressed DVD?
Q: Have you tested to see what region your dirves are on (may be locked) try using drive info to test.
Open windows media play go to Tools/Option>File Types deselect DVD video appl and save. and try your DVD in windvd.
Enclosed are aspichk.exe plus drive info.exe in this rar file.
Drive Info will or should tell you if your drive has any changes left (region change) or if it's locked/open also firmware details.. ;)
