pokopiko i dont know what you mean by partially

can you explain

i have used two serials both register
seem to work no problems

Pokopiko, i had a look at intervideo site,
WinDVD is a player, and allows you to take snapshots of your favorite scenes during a movie's play back! WinDVD Platinum also includes a Capture browser to manage your favorite images. It also includes a rapid-capture capability to easily capture images in a series.
How did you capture from an external source? i didn´t find how.

WinDVD Platinum Recorder is basically a merging of WinDVD and WinDVR, the latter of which allows capture devices and TV tuners to be used.

The downloads for WinDVD Platinum and WinDVD Recorder appear to be identical, and either one offers to install the trial for both programs. It is the serial key info that determines the capabilities of the program.

your'll get shit captures anyway

unless youve got a mpeg2 capture card
which most decent ones use there own software
and probally want work with windvd plat

i bought windvr last year total rubbish £99

i bought windvr v1,8 too for $99.
I can capture to mpeg2 and have very good results.
It has do do with the ability of your pc and the input quality

quality is all to do with what capture card you have
and source i agree (i have dazzle dvc2)

but windvr is rubbish my opinion
better programs out there

i dont think windvd will work with most mpeg2 cards
i guess it might work on ati wonder cards ect

cheap keys are over pokopiko . . . goofy @ FSS will allow you to test the full version properly.

I already purchased the upgrade, and here's what I've encountered:

* While WinDVD PR lacks the stability of WinDVR 2.0 or WinDVD 4.0, it still works well so far with Hauppauge WinTV PCI card, including the recording functions.

* The new features (Video effects filter, DVD audio, etc.) are not worth the upgrade price, IMHO, but it is nice to use many of WinDVD's features on other video files (not all work, but some do, quite nicely)

* The new skin format is a huge improvement, even though the included skins do not have the full WinDVD/WinDVR feature set available (e.g., no Closed-Caption buttons?).

* Finally, the merging of DVD/TV into one program is something I've wanted for a long time, and it is extremely convenient if you have both a DVD drive and TV capture card on the system. I don't have DVD burner, so I can't comment on burning features.

There are bugs. But all in all this appears to be good product. I was getting tired of Intervideo's product line, with so much cross-over between programs.
