WinDVD Creator making SVCD ?

WinDVD Creator seems to be a nice and easy program to use.
I have no problem of making VCD`s, but when trying to Make a SVCD it fails.
When pushing the button to record, either to File or to CD, nothing happens.

I wonder if anybody have tried this program making SVCD ?

Sorry, never tried it, didnt know about it either. You have a URL for the Demo copy?

If you want simple DVD to SVCD, then try the easy to use EazyVCD from www.eazyvcd.tk Can make VCD or SVCD as well as XVCD & XSVCD

I can make my (S) VCDs and DVDs, also capture with WinDVD Creator fine, but i have other problem, it doesn´t find my cd/r-dvd/r drives. (i think because i have a ....... version) So i have to save on hard disk and then with Nero burn!
The URL is: WinDVD Creator

Thank you both for the answers.

I have been using the very useful ChickenMan tutorials for quite a long time now, and I am very satisfied with the results regarding both VCD and SVCD.
Now my daughter wants to do the same things.
She sometimes download episodes from TV series like "Friends" and so on, and that`s why I`m trying to find an easy program for her to use.

EazyVCD seems to be a nice program and I will try it out very soon.

Regarding WinDVD Creator and the troubles that I had, it might be limitations in the trial version.

Trial version can be found here:

Hei Ollie - do u really have a working version of win dvd recorder ??
i have the file in various versions and to key makers (core/fss) and 5-6 serial reg numbers - and NONE of the get windvd to show the suppanel menu !! as show/descriped in the help file included ?

Something im missing ??

I'd sure wold love to give it a whirll :)

Greetz all:D

oscarwilli, I do not have a fully working copy.
I miss the subpanel too and the options for burning SVCD is missing, so I have given it up for now.

At the moment I`m trying out the Ulead DVD Workshop with satisfactory results so far.

I threw a lot of different files into the program, like mpg, mpeg, avi, divX and made some menues.
Everything was converted and burned in one step as SVCD and to my opinion with very good results.

Ulead DVD MovieFactory is also doing a decent job, but I hope the soon to be released version 2 will increase the quality.
