Windows XP Dial-up Networking Problem

I just recently upgraded to windows xp pro. The problem that i'm having is my computer will only connect to the internet one time. If i connect, then disconnect, and try to connect again it just dials up, but it never verifies my password. The only way i can get around this is by restarting my computer, which gets extremely annoying. Has anyone else experienced this problem? And if so, is there a solution for this? or do i just have to live with it? Thanks for any input.

I guess it had something to do with the auto disconnect feature. The problem doesn't occur when i disconnect manually, which i can live with. Thanks for the help though, next time i'll be sure to provide more info!
