i currently use the Windows Whistler Beta 2 build 2462.
these days i cannot install most new programs (that includes IE6).
they all pop up a message "Please upgrade to a newer version of Windows XP"
is there anyway to fool the programs into believing that i am running Windows XP and not Whistler Beta 2? Or upgrading to XP
by downloading a few system files (i am on a dialup, that's why)?
