windows me install

hi can anyone help i have windows xp and dont like it would like to but windows me back but my drive is not fat 32 and dont know how to get windows me back on help please

Your going to have to format your hard drive first m8 before you can put WinME back on.But as your drive is ntfs you will need to fdisk it first as the ME start up disc can not recognise ntfs.

If you have PartitionMagic 7.0 or 8.0, you can convert the NTFS back to FAT32, boot from a 98 (not Me!) boot disk, then run fdisk /mbr to put the old 98 master boot record back on, then install winMe.
This way you will not lose data (as by formatting)...
