Windows Installer (version 3)

The beta for the next Windows Installer (version 3) has begun this evening. Lucky testers have been informed the MSI 3.0 Beta1 release is supported on Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or higher, Windows XP, Windows XP Service Pack1 and Windows Server 2003. However it is not supported on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows NT or any 64-bit platform.
