Windows Explorer 98SE

Just started having problems with (O.S. 98SE) Windows Explorer and My Computer. When I click on the View selection it will show Large and Small icons also the list icons in the content section of W.E. and M.C., but when I click on the Details selection the contents section goes blank. I have not knowingly changed any settings and have checked for viruses and trojans none reported, have also used Adaware. Would greatly appreciate any HELP :confused: :confused: :confused:

Did you find out what the problem was? was it adaware? I have same problem and don;t know how to fix it - can you advise?
