windows error message due to cdrpwd.vxd

i am getting this error message at the start up. I have removed easy cd creator 5 plat .. then reinstalled after a reboot and dont get it but as soon as i reinstall ecd5 plat i get it again.

the 32 bit device driver CDRWPD(01)+0000AD23 has attempted to use a system service which is not loaded. It may be possible to continue normally.

any one have any ideas on how to fix this aside from deleting ECD5 and using nero.

You didn't say what version you have.If using XP it must be updated.First install the main program, then xp_up_platinum.exe, then ecdc_v502c_up.exe. Finally, restart the computer.

There is much better software to choose from. ;)

I am new to CD burning. What software is better and what are you using?

Ahhh... EZCD Cremator and it's intricacies...
You don't have to use the best, use pretty much anything you like. Most likely it will work much better than Cremator.
