win xp pro an service pack 1 problem

i have installed the Windows XP Service Pack 1 on my windows xp!
no problem ,but after reboot ,windows tell me that i do actived it !
i used the french ativation program nv1.1 (693 ko ) and i reboot !
and broblem : windows is booting continuatly ,i can t stop it !

how i can do for registering my windows with the xp service pack 1 ?

That was just plain not nice. Obviously if leakcim78 installed WinXP and then installed SP1 he couldn't possibly handle installing and using Linux. LOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLLOL

Mandrake has come a long way towards allowing Windows user some chance of getting it right but i think his problem is in either a tweeked registry setting caused by using that French software or ,this is a strecth, the MBR is corrupted. Only way I can think of to fix that is to blow out the old and do a clean install from scratch. Hope this can help.

I believe some activation bypassing programs for xp were screwed w/ the new service pack, try to reboot in safe mode & change the registration key if your key is not legit (there are some programs around that do make this easy), or if it is possible revert to a time before the service pack w/ system restore.

i can t do this ,because ,when i reboot ,i don t see anything at screen ,because i have a suma platinum 4200 and my display is a samsung syncmaster753df ! ( bios problem for the graphic card ,when i reboot i have a black screen ,my display was in stand bye ).

I was checking the around the net and couldn't find anything particular about the hardware pieces (either the geforce card or the analog monitor) you mention, if indeed it is a bios problem, and you REALLY want to save your current windows or some data, get hold of a cheap video card to help u out, anything will do. But Along the end, a clean install is a sound advise.

for windows xp xp 1 the problem was resolved ,but now tne problem is the graphic card !!!

-when i power on my computer ,no problem ,i can see the bios version of my suma platinium ,i could see the bios version of my motherboard ,i could use xp ,whithout problem!

-but when i want reboot windows xp ,my display was in wake up(black sreen sleeping state )! i can t change it (with the mouse for exemple !)

-the only thing i could see (the only thing who awaken the display ) it s the welcome of windows xp ! ..........................but after no problem for the games or others works !)

-the problem was i can t use the reset,reboot, fonction of windows xp !
-when i want going in my motherboard bios ,i do close the power on of my pc and power on it !

The problem might be the video card drivers, there is report of this on the net, some nvidia drivers being problematic w/ the sp1 release. Try either the latest whql certified or the 29.42. also check the bios for acpi to be turned on.
