Win 2k password bypass

I've been given a second hand computer for nothing
but it has win2k on it and when I start it up it asks for
a password. Is there any way of bypassing the password so I can put in my own one? or do I have to format and install windows again?

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks:)

Highlight 7: Get Access Without Administrator Password
Without your password, you will not get access to your XP/2000/NT system. If you lose or forget it, the only solution is to reinstall Windows in order to regain access. O&O BlueCon offers a tool to reset or change the password of local user accounts in order to give you access to your machine again.

Duracell, do you know if that will give access with full administrator rights? Or plain old user rights? Web site wasn't completely clear.

the boot/emergency CD will give you full admin rights in a (DOS like) repair console without any log in;
in this mode you are able to replace the admin password without knowing the old one;
syntax passwd {account} [{new password}]
example passwd administrator test :D

the boot/emergency CD can be created on any other PC, but during preparing you have to keep ready the OS setup CD from the patient PC;

edit: it's me again; :D
if you want to create the boot/emergency CD by using a slipstreamed OS setup CD, you have to add manually the SP info file (e.g. "WIN51IP.SP1") from the root of your OS setup CD to the root of the boot/emergency CD; this important detail isn't mentioned in the helpfile nor the manual;
