Will a normal dvd be able to read a burned dual layer disc??

Wondering if all dvd's be able to read home-burned dual layer disc ??
Because right now is that some dvd's cant play dvd- or dvd+ and so.
Does anyone know how dual layer is going to be, are they going to be in - and + ???

Both + and - will have dual layer media and burners. + will be arriving first though.

I would imagine that compatibility will be lower for dual layer media, but then I could be wrong. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

normally the first batch will b less compatible & more of a guinea pig like...if u can wait ...
