Have you ever started in one place, and ended up somewhere totally obscure?
Started from a link at an ISP forum (offtopic area)
http://www.theodoregray.com/PeriodicTable/Stories/011.2/ - The Sodium Party - small pieces fizzle, large ones go bang, and even bigger ones can do it more than once.
After wandering round the periodic table for a while, via some fairly nasty stuff... check out "Fiestaware" orange coloured plates, and the time when people radon-ized drinking water ... at the time, people though it was a good idea, now how many other health and pseudoscience fads of today will be found to be harmful in the future?
Finally, ended up at:
http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1111/is_n1782_v297/ai_21281407/pg_1 "The radioactive boy scout" - now that is a frightening tale, mind you, possession of that much material would be an even bigger worry today.
Has anyone made a more bizarre web trip - I usually find all random wanderings end up taking me to perpetutual motion sites, or perpetual motion coverup conspiracy sites.
