Why so hard on microsoft?

Guys, what's the big deal about microsoft being a bunch of crap? Am I missing something? Are people suggesting that it is the cause of a lot of pc problems? If not microsoft, then what else?

C'mon guys, speak out on this.

A bunch of crap perhaps not <> merciless Business Corporation - Certainly.

They produce some marvellous software(& some not so good)but Buy Or try to crush anyone who has the temerity to make money as well.

They have brought out more versions of Windoze than I care to count <> service packs by the barrow load <> Security patches by the million.

Why dont they make an Operating System that we can use without all these problems.
MONEY <> MONEY <> MONEY

A new System means more Billions in Bills Coffers!!!

Mybe it coz Gates say that each new windows is more secure & safer than last one, same was said about XP which had quite a few patches/updates that it needed even when just released.

That & the fact they just buy out all the companies withj the good ideads & progs (ie RAV & GIANT)

Or the fact they introduced IE & ActiveX which has been nothin but a security nightmare.
