Why is it taking so long

Hello
Why is it taking so long to shrink and backup my movie. I started last night and it is still going this morning 7+hrs. I thought my memory was not enough (256mb) but DVDShrink site says only 128mb is needed. Any ideas?

It can take time What processor have U got & U do need a lot of RAM for encoding <> the more the merrier & what OS U using?

Something is wrong...Should be done in a hour or faster-i think,Quit that and start again
