Why I can't playback after convert Xvid to DVD?

Would somebody please help me to resolve this problem, after convert the Xvid to DVD. It become two files Audio_TS and Video_TS, I use them to burn on the Nero but I got the message" you have added DVD-Video convert to a compilation type that will not result in a DVD-video compliant disc. To create disc playbble in standalone DVD-video players. Please use the DVD-video compilatuion type."???? I got no clue what is going on.

You must use the dvd options in nero there are two choices in the burn settings using the classic nero mode see attached image ..

(1) choose dvd in the DROPDOWN to burn a dvd compilation

(2) choose DVD VIDEO as you choice of disk to make

The AUDIO_TS folder is usually empty anyhow so leave it empty open the red VIDEO_TS In the compilation box and in the file browser menu that shows you hard drive and files navigate and find the VIDEO_TS folder and VOBS etc that you wish to add to the compilation.

Then drag and drop the entire contents of the VIDEO_TS folder thats on your hard disk into the VIDEO_TS in the left half of the compilation window when these are added then just burn the disk and with a bit of luck you should have a working dvd

I did as same as your instruction. I only can use this DVD on my computer but not on my DVD receiver on my living room. It keep give me the message can not playback. Do you have any suggestion? I did exactly like that for Finding Nemo and couple else and It is fine until now???? Don't know what is going on????

what brand of media are you using and what type of media does your player in your living room take ( -r or +r or both ) ?!

maby try a different brand of media and or burn slower than the speed you currently are burning at

RITEK G4's are highly recommended here

My receiver is Philips able to read DVD+RW. My DVD disc is Sony DVD+RW (1X-4X)and another type is K Hypermedia DVD+RW(1X-2.4X) both are 4.7GB and video120 min. Thanks

The result is the same even I install the Nero 5.5.10.42. , burn 2 file to DVD disc VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS ....I got the message " Playback feature may not be available on this Disc"
What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks


Are there anyway to trasfer this version( VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS) to SVCD then use DVD-LAB to burn back to DVD+RW?????

OK Guys. I has the XViD movies file that I want to convert to DVD+RW. Firsrt I used VirtualDub/AC3 convert all the files that I need then I use TMPGen Plus to encode Video, LAst I use TMPENC Author to combine Video and AC3 Audio together to become 2 files which are AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS.
I used Nero DVD-Video Mode to burn them on DVD+RW but after DVD done, I tried DVD Disc to my DVD player which can read DVD+RW , the DVD system could not read the DVD disc which I just burn. Hope that you guys have enough info so you can help me to solve this problem. Please help.Thanks
