Hello,can someone tell me what program i have to use to recover lost stuff that i deleted,because every now and then i delete something by mistake that ive downloaded,because when you delete something in windows it doesnt acually get deleted does it,it just gets hidden from windows,is this true,i hope it is anyway,because i deleted starwars episode 2 yesterday by mistake,i thought id backed it up but didnt,so is there a program so i can get acsess to all the deleted stuff on my harddrive,thanks.

i'd recommend ontrack easyrecovery pro 6. it was at fosi sometime ago, but couldn't find it there tdy. h/ever, i think, you can find the links somewhere in the forums.

Yeh thanks everyone for your reply,i tryed Disk Investigator,thanks Laz it worked like a charm,managed to save the movie,i was lucky though because i notest a lot of other stuff that was previously deleted was half overwritten and all corrupted,so i was lucky that the starwars movie that i deleted by mistake was still there,anyway thanks again,ill know what to use nextime this happens.

You could also used Recover4all Pro
Nevest version here.
It is only one file , copy to a diskette and do your job....
