which is the best device for capturing?

hi...
i have an old ATI all in wonder 8 mb card .... and when i wnat to capture any tv show .... it takes alot of my hardisk space with bad quality also...
so i decide to buy a new one .....
so can any one tell me which is the best card which will capture at a real time, space and quality ...

I think a VCR would solve your problem :) what are you wanting to do...just capture TV programs....having enough RAM might also be an issue..and lacking Hard drive space..

I would highly recommend the AverTV Studio/Pro (by AverMedia), aswell as the Aviosys 2310. Hauppauge winTV products are also ok.
I would stay away from the Pinnacle Studio products (as their support is the pitts & they have poor drivers for some OS systems). This is also the case for ATI cards (poor drivers & support).
Well thsoe are my picks, others am sure will give their imput.

I would stay away from any "Hauppague Win TV" product, i have had one for the last year and paid close to $200 for it in Canadian, and the Image Quality is just terrobale..I just bought a TV Wonder VE and the Quality of it is 500% better than Hauppague with 1/4 the price...
