nearly all commercial CDR-Soft;

i'm using Nero for data CDs; it's able to do all these things;
but different people - different meanings about the best CDR-Soft;
i'm satisfied with Nero;

I have downloaded nero 5.5.10 latest and installed. But when looking cd/media information it is showing 702.8mb for 800mb cdr. Easy cd also showing the same and refused to burn 800mb asking for media with more space. The cd information in easy cd also shows 702.8 mb for a 800mb cdr. Guidance required about burning audio/data cdr's of 800mb.

A CD-R cannot report any more than 80 minute capacity.

Use of 90 or 99 minute media requires overburning support in both hardware and software.
Some drives will not overburn, some will, but cannot reach 90min and many more will not reach 99min.

ROXIO Easy CD Creator does not overburn, and they totally ignore the 90/99 minute issue.

Nero will, if you get it right - this means setting the overburn capabality/limit in Expert preferences, and then burning using Disc At Once - and to enable that setting for data, requires tha multisession be set to NONE - this option is not available in Wizard mode, only from the compilation properties outside of Wizard mode ... accessible from file menu and other places even if you START in wizard mode.

It can't do it automatically - YOU have to set it appropriately.

LTR12101B is 100% right
the CDR standard alows only 700MB, it means all over 700 is "Overburning";
the consequence: 800MB media are 700MB media, which are tested to record till 800MB;
