Which Burning Soft is the BEST.?

alot is more of a personal choice...and dependent to what your wanting...I use CDRWIN 3.9D...WinOnCD/DVD 6.01 and RecordNowMax 4.50...for data...and Audio CD Burner 2.81 to burn MP3's...and AudioGrabber 1.82.2 for ripping Audio.

Best??

How longs a piece of string:confused:Me I use Alcohol/Clone Cd/Nero/Hotburn/EAC/Burnatonce but the best No idea just what I like & use try as many as U can & make your mind up.I would say that Burnatonce being Free is at or very near the top of the tree!:D

It really is a personal choice as there are many apps and they all tend to work just fine. I use Nero for data cds, Feurio for audio cds, and CloneCD for backups.

Agree on personnal chice, I love the new Nero 6 ultra for Bin/iso burning and CD Creator 5 for music and video streaming!

Creator for music and video streaming?
You gotta be a very brave guy! I do mainly audio, and Cremator is just about the worst/lamest software that exists for the job (as well as for other jobs too, but that's another story).
And just curious: have you ever burned a cue/bin with Nero where the FLAGS commands or the ISRC/UPC code have been maintained in the copy? If you did you must pass the tip to the Ahead developers, because they still claim that such "senseless" commands are ignored... :D
And what's more: did you ever succeed burning a multisession cue/bin image with Nero?

There probably isn't one BEST. For general file compilation, it's rarely worth going any further than whatever you got bundled with the burner, though if you got NOTHING bundled, then you have a tough choice.

Easy CD Creator and Nero are probably the two most commonly found in bundles, with supporters and opponents to both.
B's Gold seems to be a SONY bundle offerring - though not seen much otherwise.

NTI CDmaker seems to have few complaints, but with fewer users, that's not surprising.

And finally, the rash of prassi-based products - of which RecordNowMax is probably the best known.

Some free ones include those based on the CDRDAO engine (such as Burnatonce) and tthose based on the CDRECORD engine (such as Demosten CDRTOOLS frontend).
As well as those based on other/unknown engines.

Best? - well, if I was choosing one I'd like to get with a burner, it would be Nero 5.5 - but NOT the express-only version!
