where are my files?

Hi, I made a cd with all kind of files, pictures, documents.
When I burnt the cd I leave it open so I can add files, everything went fine so I took it to another pc and I can see all the files and save some of them. then I put the cd back in the first pc to add one more file that I missed, so I add it and then I tried it in the other pc and in the cd there is only the last file, What happened to the other files?.
If I understand right, once you burnt a cdr you can not erase it, right? so where are they?.
I'm using regular cds, not rewritables, my cdrw drive is a lg, I made the cd in a win 98se and open it in win xp pc. I am using nero 6
Thank you

Sounds like the common multisession problem - not importing the previous session.
Reasons:
  1. Software not set to import the session (happened to a friend when they used B's Gold instead of their usual Nero
  2. CD-R not present when the session import should have been performed
  3. Not using the software in "Continue Multisession" mode

The Cure/recovery:
  • Use "Session Selector" or "Multimounter" capabilty if included in software (in Nero, it would be called Multimounter - but it's a FULL feature only, not BUNDLE)
  • Use a tool such as Isobuster to access previous sessions
  • The writer method - save the last additions which you CAN see, as this method will lose it. Then add another session (could be what you just saved) but import the session BEFORE last (this should be the "lost" session).
