Where am I going wrong.???

I have been trying to back up a DVD to play on my Dvd player.
Using the recommended De-crypter, DVD Shrink,
Tried it just doing it through Shrink, get great copies that play on my computer, try them on the DVD player, it just says "READING" and thats all.

Color system format
This unit accommodates the PAL system, and also can play back discs recorded witn NTSC system whose Region Code numbers include "2"
Note thai the WTSC video signal on a disc is converted to a PAL signal and output.
 
have you tried using different media !? have you tried burning the media you have slower !?

what media are you using +r or -r ?! you may be better off with some RITEK G4's -r's these tend to be pretty much compatible with 99% of all players :)
 
that will be your problem reds suck even these new so called better V2 that you have there!......

I recently got a pack to experiment with as they were sposed to be better than the old type datawrite reds i tested with my new 107 pioneer the results were variable from 1 or 2 that worked to the almost rest of the whole 25 pack being jittery and skipping on playback so i took them back to my puter store and they replaced them for some others and ive not had any problems since :)

my thoughts on DATAWRITE RED AVOID :)


try different media :)

Did they play OK on your computer, but not on your stand alone.?

Anyway its worth a try wth G4's.
 
Ritek G04 BASED media most are fine and worth the extra cost....
Which hardware are you using to burn your disc?
