If the model that you want to bye based on lite-on cdrecorder then do it if not noooooooooo!
My opinion is that lite-on recorders are the best with less money!
Then recorders from plextor but are tooooo expensive!

For cd copy protections, you bet your arse babah!. But you wan't to do some research first. Check out the Asus 40x& 48x. This drive cuts Safedisc 2.51.021 (C&C Renegade, Medal Of Honor, Serious Sam:SE), just to name a few. Check out the test results.
