What to do ??

My son, 11 years old, is getting the virus Klez H.

The sender is always the same guy, but different people who will get the blame for it.

I have contacted Telia, Swedens largest phone-operator, several times about this matter but they don´t care a shi*.

Any suggestions from the "friendly" people here.

Maybe give him something in return ;)

send an email to the senders ISP usually abuse@ispnamehere and tell them you are sick of the mails send a copy of the text not the attachments of the mail and demand that they take action or you will take it further :)

Thanks for the fast answers pokopiko and Viper :)

Yes i have sent a copy of the "properties" on the mail.

7 times now with this Klez virus and 5 times reported to Telia Abuse but like i wrote they don´t care.

Tomorrow morning i will call them personally on the phone and tell them **!"#"!

The chances are the person does not know about it or his name is being used by the virus. Unless u know otherwise!
Use mailwasher it is attached to the forum.

I work for an ISP dude and i no what problem u are talking about.
basically the person sending u the virus doesn't even no about it. What the virus actually does is creates a Database of email address for sending and receiving. It doesn't neccessarily mean the person is infected. The virus itself needs to be filtered by ur ISP as the email address will always change. On our server we have antivirus scanning email. Most ISP's here in S.A have email security. Try suggesting it to them. Who no's they might have the brains to do it.

Just my 2 cents

Cheers

Why don't you simply use a virus scannerwho is always up to date?

Simply delete all infected mails before opening them and forget about striking back.

The guy sending you the virus-contaminated mails probably does not even know that his computer is infected and therefore he does not with the intention to harm other people's computer.

Use a good scanner and releax.

I needed set the rights of your son so that he cannot open atachments.;)

No probs with opening attachements....that´s not done at all.

But when you click on the mail you automatically get it opened.

For me no problem, but let´s say my son is opening it and get
the warning from the antivirus ( BTW it´s AVG Antivirus )
Yes - No - Heal.

As all know it´s always nice to touch something you´re not
allowed to do :D

As earlier said : block the sender, but it´s always different "From" but always in the "Properties" it´s the same.

Is there any way to block it thru the "Properties" info.

I mean i can´t block this guy because i never see his name until i check it out on "Properties"
