Hi people....... I run a p4 2.0 with Win2000 , 512ram and 150gigs of Hd's! Everytime i get to the stage of burning the ripped dvd files i get an "Access denied"message and something about the "qdvd.dll". I tried replacing it with and older or newer version that someone suggested but my system keeps replacing it back to the old one after a couple of seconds! Anyone what i can do to fix this?????

Well..............formated and installed XP Pro and then Direct X 9 and all is well. Perfect rips.....shrinks.....and burns!!!!! Thanx a million scarecrow!!!

Windows 2000 is certainly the best OS Microsoft has ever issued, but sometimes you get weird things happening, because certain hardware drivers (even the WHQL certified ones) are XP optimised and do not work well under 2000.
I guess that using XP is not a major drawback, once you figure out how to get rid of the utterly useless XP eycandy and spamware- and most driver problems should not exist. In fact, it's the next best thing to 2000, regarding windows.
