What is the best and easiest DVD Authoring Software to use Note that not all can make

Suggestions ? as well as ISO standard. As I hear that many of them can author it but they can make it not playable in all players.. but there are some that will play in all. Ideas ? DVD Movie Factory 2.0 ? Problem is I made some movies from the camcorder into a MPEG II file but it wants to reencode it again when it is already compliant standard by using TMPGEnc 2.60., Help

Pinnacle Studio, or Vegas (not that Premiere is bad, but...)
The ISO standard is not sufficient for most movie DVD images, just for data DVd images.

Well, I recon Maestro is the easyiest to use or understand and allows you to do just about anything. Animated menus with multiple movie, audio and subtitles. Unlike ifoedit, its written in understandable English.

i mean Spruce DVDMaestro is as easy as powerful, but, as elpresidente said, IfoEdit is freeware ... and very easy and powerful too

If all you want to do is make a film only dvd from audio and video tracks then ifoedit is the easiest.

Saying that, I always use spruce maestro! ;)

I did not have good luck with IfoEdit for authoring. The resultant disc did not play in one of my DVD-Roms and in one of my standalones. However, I use ReelDVD for authoring, either film only, or with goodies. I've yet to have compatibility troubles.

Dazzle is probably at the top but I like daveml find that maestro or Spruce up does the job fine & I am not trying to make a Speilberg epic just chapters & menu's so the simpler the better.

With Maestro you can greate dvd that dazzle can not, but dazzle is easy to use and support more types of files as input and if the file is not valid Dazzle will encode it. So if you want to make just a DVD from your movie files, Dazzle is better, but if you want to make a DVD with subtitles and more than one audio track then you have to use Maestro.

It seems as though I am the only one using Sonic products (ReelDVD, MyDVD, Scenarist). Have others had bad experiences?
