What I am hoping to do is burn a 3 disc SVCD set onto a DVD-R so that it will play in a standalone DVD Player.
I have got to the point that I have a DVD-R rip which is still at 480*480 and I now need to rescale this to 720*480 and I would like to use CCE to encode rather than using TMPG.
On TMPG's site it suggests that TMPG can be used to frameserve to CCE for encoding but does not say how to do this
I am not sure if TMPG is the best option for scaling the m2v file and would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction as to the software required and settings needed to retail the best possible quality.
(Currently using CCE 2.64.01.02 but also have 2.66 beta awaiting trial.)
Hopefully I'll be able to author a DVD with both 480*480 & 720*480 video with a simple menu to allow selection of which version. This would allow the choice of best quality or compatibility with standalones. Thanks...
