what is difference ? Pioneer DVR-A05,DVR-A05U,DVR-105.

I bought Pioneer DVR-A05U but drive said DVR-105,not DVR -A05.

Is there somthing wrong or not? Anyone know???

105 is oem version of A05.
A bare drive without software and extras.

They are identical units, the A05 comes in a box with a couple of DVDR's and some authoring software. The 105 comes in a plastic bag.

If you upgrade your firmware, it will always say its a 105.

In Australia, the A05 is labelled as A05P, the software inside is labelled as from Pioneer (Australia) Ltd. I'm sure it will all differ slightly form country/region to country/region.
