watch out this Ritek product!

I found this at DVDrhelp, I don't know if its true but it worth passing on.

I had a frind who is working for Ritek USA told me that this type of package on Ritek product is all "RMA" from officedepot! make sure to watch out what you are buying out there! Red package one with Ridata brande is only one good and so is those silver top or silver matt one!

AND IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I AM SAYING, PLEASE GO CHECK WITH YOUR NEAREST OFFICEDEPO TO SEE IF WHAT I AM SAYING IS REAL!

Interesting..they should be sold as "repackaged" at a discount.Not a very good business practice to deceive people.Hope it's not true,but evidence is pointing that way.

So far I don't agree wiht this at all. They say these from shop4tech have the problem well I just got 4-25 packs and so far so good. So so far I would say someone just has it in for ritek. Just my 2 cents but I could be wrong.

Hello Folks,

I do not believe the story that some online retailers are selling RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Ritek DVD media that was originally sold by Office Depot and returned as RMA merchandise.

The first reason I don't believe this story is because Office Depot has never sold Ritek branded DVD media. My daughter has worked for Office Depot for 2 ½ years and she has never seen Office Depot sell Ritek branded DVD media.

The second reason I don't believe this story is that in United States the practice of re-shrink wrapping opened returned RMA merchandise and reselling it as new is illegal. I don't believe Ritek will be that foolish to engage in that illegal and immoral practice.
