Watch DVDs with CDROM??????

I've heard rumors of programs that decode DVDs using your cdrom. That is to say you are able to watch DVDs without a DVDROM.
My question is What is the program if there is one?

No. Impossible.
If u want to watch a film on a cdrom it needs to be in vcd,svcd or avi format.(there r others).
Please use the search button next time as this question as been asked a few times before.
(it just saves u hassle!)

it is technically impossible to read a DVD with a cdrom !

but i got for example a cdrom with a movie in dvd format, but it's only a very short movie that can be read without dvd-drive cause it's a normal cdrom
(a sample movie i got bundled with my graphics card)
