What is the NMX04-1A and what does it do?

It is the first attempt to create a fully functional Mech; intended for research and development in the creation of future Mecha Vehicles by Neogentronyx.

The first machine of its creation and design in the world. Made for the specific purpose of troubleshooting the mechanical aspects of the first ever bipedal Mecha.

The NMX04-1A is fully functional and stands freely on its own without need of a hoist. Arms, legs, and torso are all powered.

The NMX04-1A Prototype is an ( X ) type chassis Mecha meaning Anthropomorphic/humanoid. It stands at 18ft tall, its over 8.5 ft wide, weighs in at 3000lbs

A few Features of the NMX04-1A:
12 volt electrical system
Key start ignition
Lighting system
3000psi hydraulic system.
40pts of possible movement.
Clamp styled hands with optional locks for full on crushing or just gentle clasping as full ram extension.
Weight stabilizers.
Removable foot plates for increased traction.
2 x Flame Throwers, one on each arm.

This prototype is piloted by one person and simple to operate. All controls are within arms reach.

The pilot control area is setup with engine cutoff, left and right arm and hand controls, as well as arm twist, raise, and lower. The leg controllers are mounted into foot pedals, once leg position has been achieved; there are secondary rests to assure that leg position of the NMX04-1A will not shift un-intentionally.

Although it is designed with functional controls for moving the legs, bear in mind that this is only a prototype; though the footprint is designed to give stability for a biped of its size and weight it can not take massive strides. Future models will have this capability.

It can be refitted, and upgraded to take a more powerful engine and hydraulic system if desired.
