wan ip address....

can i use command prompt to get my wan ip address??..

ipconfig - shows regular info

ipconfig /? - shows all commands with explanations

ipconfig shows the lan ip which is 192.168.1.xxx....but it doesnt show the wan ip....and i was just wondering if there were a command to get it command prompt or maybe in network connections or something....im using www.whatsmyip.com to get my wan ip....

You can log into router and see it but I find the web easier. http://www.cmyip.com/

Use an oldie but goodie freeware program like IP2. It gives you both your LAN and WAN IPs. Only 13.5kb and freeware.
