that's not true - cracks.am had no viruses. and about adware and popups - ever heard about popup blockers and banner filters? I filtered absolutely all advertisement from their site and my popup killer killed all popups, so after I was finished it became the most visitor friendly site on the net. it's a real pity that they are down. hope they will come back sometimeChiMusic said:

Yes, they had at least one crack on there for over a year that had a virus. I informed them of it, and it was never removed or altered. It was a good crack site if you ignored the pop-ups and other garbage, but no viruses isn't correct. It will happen anywhere, but usually when you inform the operator of a virus, the file comes down real quick. It didn't happen in that case.php said:

I understand your concern. This is true on may warez sites.
- I will recommend to use Spystopper and PopUpCop.
- Switch to High the Privacy in IE6.
- Switch to Medium the Internet, Local and Trusted sites in IE6.
- Customize Restricted sites by Disable manually ALL options.
- I will also add a last recommendation by customizing your host file. A very good and small program is called Hostess (h**p://accs-net.com/hostess/). It can also export the Host as a REG file you can import into your registry to add all the bad IPs to your Restricted zone in IE6.
- Get the IPs to block at w*w.smartin-designs.com/. They also have an adult section.
Personnaly I got no sex web sites, not popups, no ads, no spywares, bugs, cookies, scripts style sheets and so by using these programs.
Of course we do not want to forget a good firewall and antivirus
