VOB InstantCD/DVD with Liteon 24102B

hey i just messing around and i found VOB InstantCD/DVD. So i downloaded and using it. I was wondering what do you guys think of this piece of software. I think their interface is not bad. I was looking at their recorders supported page and i was wondering why my CDRW can't do RAW MODE. The interesting thing is that my old Sony CRX140E i found it's supported RAW MODE with this software. Why is that? Does any have problems burning *.cue with this program. Every time i load the cue and try to burn. It gives me error and it doesn't says what kind of error is it. It just pop up a error. How do i fix this? Thank you.



PS. It would be nice if NERO do something about their interface. Why can burning software be skinable? That would be cool!

I was just wandering - I'm not a VOB user myself but does this regfile work for the new version I found it on cracks am.

When I tried installing this software it completely fucked up my system - missing cd drives and aspi drivers etc, although it did look quite good.

rooster i suggest you don't download cracks for this VOB program, but follow the instructions in the forum posted a while ago to get the full version of 6.22 regged. It's in the forum somewhere or you can check the download section in the homepage of cdrsoft.cc . Then reinstall the program. It's not a bad appz. Make sure you download the recorder update from the VOB website.


hey pokopiko are u using WinXP or what? I'm going to try it your way. It doesn't hurt tryint right? Thanx for the tip man. I'm just going to download the record update and edit the registry file under the Liteon 24102B like your and see.

dude thnx a lot, i been wasting time doing this crap. I'm no expert when it comes to this stuffs. Have you burn VCD or SVCD with this app? How is it?

why is it that they have so many different companies who made CDRW that is that same to Liteon 24102B? Doesn't that violate the law or something? I just deleted all the other cdrw reg and i use your. It seems to recognize it, but i haven't test out to see if i get coasters though. I will try it later.

Ps. How's the mp3 function with this app?

nah i'm not too interesting with those audio apps. What am i going to do with them. The only thing i use is probably the nero audio editor to edit some of my songs that's all. The reason i asked you all this is that i'm been looking for a good burning program that can do everything like Nero, but has better interface. I'm tire of the Nero interface, but Nero is a good program. I found WinOnCD 5.0 and finally got it working for me with the English interface, but the only problem is that it doesn't support CD-Text for Mp3 for my Liteon. I burn many albums and my friend got a cd player that has support for CD-Text. Right now, i'm using Feurio for Mp3 burning. It's actually not a bad program. I didn't like it at first because of the confusing interface, but i'm getting a hang of it now. I'm very much into interface as you can see!!!

pokopiko....I thought I was gonna be happy when I saw this message about vob and read your solution. I am having the same exact problem as trueboyz. Here is some info:

OS: Win98SE
Burning Apps on computer: Padus DJ, CloneCD, and VOB

When I want to burn an image file via Cue sheet, I click Instant disk, then disk image, then select the cue from the windows box, then it takes me to Instant copy window with HD as source and Litey 24x as destination. I then click start and I get Copy Error in a little box with a red X. So I read your fix and did this:

I deleted this key completely

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\VOB\CDRApp\Writer

(PS- I know how to edit the registry....so this is not problem lol )

and then I dl your regkey file and doubleclicked it so that now there is only the info for the Litey contained in the above registry key that you made. Well, I rebooted and went to do the cue sheet thing and I still get the Copy Error........no change. Do you have any other solution or is there something I may have overlooked? Do I need to select a profile in the details windows when burning a cue sheet? I really hope there is a way to get this to work.....I am using the ISO + the 6.22 update (16,117,236 bytes) dl the day it came out.....so it should work.

Please help if at all possible.

Pardon me for 2 quick questions if you have time. Is there a site with a tut on correct adjusting the settings on vob? And last, if I were burning a bin/cue files lets say for a game like tropico that uses Copylok protection would not I set the write for RAW 96bytes subchannel instead of 16bytes? Man it would be great if I could find an info site explaining more of this but could not find on google I tried. Any tips would be most gladly thanks pokipiko.

well he's got experience. Don't you pokopiko? You tried a lot of burning software? Can you tell me how i can cross fade the songs with the VOB mp3 burning software? I can't seem to apply the settings for all the track. I have to manually edit the gaps between the songs for each song. Is there another around this? How can i apply to all the song?

i'm not talking about editing music functions. I'm just talking about like drag and couple of songs and create a music cd. I want to ask you how do i cross fade those tracks?

ok, maybe I just mess with it and see. I been to vob website and see no info on settings in support. Thinking maybe there was exact way to set this for copy protect software like games but maybe not. Seen some places for clone on how to set this but none for vob

what is this thing about RAW 16 or 96 or whatever? How does it work? What does it do? When should we use it? Do we need to burn raw mode with with cue/bin?
