VOB files on Hard Drive, But....????

I used the smart ripper proggy to get the dvd to the Hard Drive I want it in VCD or SVCD format, whichever is easiest. I successfully used DVD2AVI and have the Wav file and the ,d2v file, but now when i go into TMPEG software I browse for the video file (.d2v file), I get an error message saying that it is unsupported. What Now?:confused:

No , I don't recall installing that file or proggy. Thanks for the info. I will try to find it myself, but if anyone knows where I can get it, that would be cool too. Thanks Again.
