virtualdub problem

I just downloaded virtualdub 1.6. I tried "capture video" and it seemed to be doing what it was supposed to be doing. Then I downloaded huffyuv. Now when I select "capture video" virtualdub locks up ("program is not responding")and never comes back. Computer does not lock up.

Is this because of huffyuv or something else? I tried uninstalling huffyuv and got a message that it was already uninstalled, but then it was still showing up as a compression option invirtualdub.

My system:
AMD 3200XP
1 GIG ram
Infinity Ultra II mb
Sapphire 9600 XT video card
2 harddrives: 40gig and 120gig
WinTV2000 capture card

VirtualDUB has problems with some capture card drivers, thats the real problem. Check if there any updates for your cap card.

Try re-installing Huffyuv and then immediately uninstall.
