and where can i find it in to fix it. :p peace

Rt clk on My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Performance options > Look down to Virtual Memory > Click change (you'll have to reboot when finished).

One rule of thumb is 2.5 x RAM amount. Many moon ago, I was having trouble playing Wolfenstein, and Activision's tech suggested that, as the hard drive was big enough, I should set max and min to 750 megs. I've left it at about that ever since.

Of course, if you have tons of physical ram, you could try conservative swap-file usage and disable virtual memory, but I'm not convinced this is ever a good idea.

Ooh! - the Windows newsgroups argue this one for EVER!

2.5x, or 3x, or whatever, tends to be a poor rule at several points on the scale - most notable if you follow a slavish insistence of making it 2.5x RAM when RAM is more than adequate.

I like to set the minimum (in any Windows system) a bit higher than what is observed (allocated, not used, since the allocation is on demand even if not used) during a fully loaded out session, and the maximum to some zen-derived value above that ... this means it shouldn't need to resize in normal use, but can if it needs to.

The windows default is 1.5X RAM. The optimal depends on your RAM size, e.g. for RAM >1G I would safely suggest no pagefile at all!
