Virtual DVD drive?

Emulate a DVD?

I know howto do this with normal CD's but still fresh with the DVD's
I'm getting tired of taking my DVD's in and out of my drive so i was wondering if there is a program that allows me to create a iso file (or anything that can get this working) on my HDD which I can be mounted onto a virtual DVD drive?
Is there any particular software anyone recommends to do this job?

hi & welcome
1)u can use burnatonce 2 make an iso image or use ur favourite burn app like nero 2 do so
2)if u use nero,u can use its image drive to view the image of the disc u've made
3)or give dameon tools a try,can open a variety of images

There's also Alcohol 120%.

DVD Decrypter...then I mount it in Alcohol 120%....
Or if you use dvdshrink..when backing up you can use the iso disc image option to back up....then mount into Alcohol. and it should play in your software dvd player.
