Virtual Dub

When i try to useVirtual Dub to open AVI file to encode them,

it says that connot locate MP43 (Microsoft High Speed MPEG4 V3)

Virtual Dub requires a (VFW) Video for Windows compatible codec to decompress data

Anyone know where i could get this from?

Thanks

You need MPG4C32.dll V4.00.0.3688 . Any later version has been gutted by MS. Any earlier version predates MPEG4. It is geeting verrrrry hard to find as MS has been disappearing it. I searched on Google a year ago and found it after looking at about 50 of the same name files but the wrong version. The dll version is 407KB in size, zipped it is 134KB.

: : VIDC.MPG4=C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\mpg4c32.dll
: : VIDC.MP42=C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\mpg4c32.dll

The link is probably dead now.
