hi there, just want to know of anyone uses vidomi to convert vob's to DivX or XviD and what do you think of it, because i haven't seen anyone posting about this prog yet.

It's the program Chickenman uses in his DVD>AVI tutorial. I used it on my one and only DVD>AVI and it looked great - but i haven't got anything to compare it to!

ya it is the best or at least one of the top 3 tools to use for encoding to DivX (Xvid still experimental). Have a look at the tutorials section for info:

I use Vidomi and think it's one of the, if not the best DivX encoder. Very easy to use and you get perfect DivX video everytime. (well, atleast I do)

DVDdecrypter and Vidomi is all you need to make perfect DivX's from DVD's

I use Vidomi for all my Stargate SG-1 rips and they are very good and I may say very popular check alt.binaries,stargate-sg1, for me Vidomi is the tool for Divx only some DVD's like Star Trek TNG don't work well as they are very strange converted to PAL from the original NTSC.

vidomi with CM tutorial is fantastic!
for me is the best way to divx.
