The Svideo on your graphic card is an output and not an input.

.Have no idea, maybe is better to ask on hardware forum, I have a Win TV Premium and I am satisfied but I am sour there are mpeg cards much better than a TV card.

The Pinnacle PCTV card is a good all rounder for VHS captture and is cheap to buy. About $105 AU or about $50 US

Name ? arr... would you believe "Pinnacle PCTV". It has Composite Video and S-Video inputs, much the same as most analogue capture cards Audio is via your sound card line in.
