Just lucky I guess :D

I really dont know either why most dont but some do have the sync problem. Maybe it your player, try a different one.

Ripped plenty of DVD's to DivX311alpha, then SBC, then DivX 4.xx, 5.xx, XviD, RV9, etc. without any sync problems.

I however have never used vidomi and also haven't used mp3 in a while.

Hmm, there was once when I used Smart Ripper and the AC3 was not the same length as the video. Re-ripped before re-encoding and it was fine.

As for a player, I recommend Media Player Classic.

i normally use xvid for video,and mp3
is it becoz i used ABR bitrate(coz i used it last time, dont remember if it was with mp3 or ogg vorbis)
i normally use media player classic for viewing every video ,from avi to rm :)
